How Hyndr handles your Health Check summary

What is saved when you allow it

• Speed, latency, jitter and connection-stability measurements
• Whether the test and each measurement stage completed or failed
• Timeout or measurement-error categories
• Approximate ISP and region derived while processing the connection
• Selected measurement server
• General browser and device category
• Measurement and scoring versions

Each permitted summary is retained for no more than 30 days.

What is not saved in the summary

• Your IP address, name, email or exact location
• Your personal files or browsing history
• The temporary test data transferred while measuring your connection
• Measurement-session security tokens

Your IP address is still processed while your device is connected, including temporarily for security and abuse prevention. Any security logs are kept separately from summaries for up to 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Separately, for every visitor, Hyndr adds to anonymous daily totals of Health Checks that start, finish, are cancelled or fail. These totals hold no identifier and cannot be linked to you or to a single test. How the totals work.

How saved summaries improve Hyndr

Saved summaries help Hyndr compare measurements across browsers, connection types, regions and measurement servers. They help us identify stages that fail or produce unreliable results, improve measurement thresholds and verify that changes work consistently. They are used to improve the Health Check—not to build individual user profiles.

How to stop future summary storage

1. Open Privacy Settings, also available under Privacy in the footer.
2. Select Change summary storage.
3. Choose Stop saving future summaries in the popup.

New Health Checks in this browser session will no longer be saved. Summaries saved before the change remain separated from your identity and expire within 30 days.
